"Works well once you figure out the wall limits"
It works good, good once you know what kind of wall you’re dealing with. For regular drywall, it did the job just fine.

"Clear view and easy to figure out"
I was surprised by how clear the wall view looked. I used it on a couple of walls in the hallway and near the kitchen, and I wasn’t stuck squinting at the screen trying to guess what was what. The studs and pipes showed up clearly enough that even with my dog bumping into my leg half the time, I could still follow along.
It did take me a few minutes to get used to what I was seeing, kind of like figuring out a new dashboard in a car, but after that it clicked. Once I got the hang of it, the visuals made sense and made the job feel a lot less annoying. Happy with it overall.

"Arrived quicker than expected"
It showed up faster than I thought, and the box was in good shape when it got here. I haven’t used it enough yet to say much about the quality, though, so I’m still a little unsure on that part

"A bit tricky to get set up"
It took me a little longer than I expected to get everything connected. The instructions were okay, but I think they could be a bit clearer for someone setting it up for the first time.

"Why is keeping it connected so complicated?"
When this thing actually connects, it seems like it could be useful. The problem is getting it to stay connected in the first place. I had to unplug it, restart the app, mess around with my phone settings, and basically go through a whole routine just to get it working. And even after all that, it still dropped the connection a few times while I was using it. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but for me it was one of those “why is this so complicated?” kind of experiences...

"Actually helps find what’s behind the wall"
I was surprised by how well this worked. It was accurate and saved me from making random guesses before drilling. I’d say it’s worth considering if you need something simple for quick checks around the house.

"Just too pricey for what it does"
It works okay here and there, but i just expected a bit more for the price. Setup was easy, so no complaints there, but the results were kind of hit or miss. It’s not terrible or anything, just didn’t feel worth the money to me

"It works, but the build feels cheap"
I’ll give it credit, it does work fine, so I’m not saying it’s useless or anything. But the plastic case feels flimsy, like it wouldn’t take much to crack or wear down. For what I paid, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect something that feels a little more solid.

"Really handy for spotting pipes and wires"
This worked really well for helping me find pipes and wires before drilling. I liked that it gave me a clear reading instead of making me guess, and it saved me from accidentally hitting anything behind the wall. Simple to use and definitely a handy tool to have around the house.

"Worked fine after I paid, thankfully"
I’ll admit I was a little suspicious after paying, wondering if it was going to be one of those things that suddenly gives you problems. But the setup calibrated on the first try and kept working without any weird issues, so I’m happy with it.

"Took me a minute to get it"
I had to mess with it a little at first, and that part was kind of confusing for a bit. After a couple tries though, it started to click. It’s not really hard, you just need a little patience in the beginning to figure out how that whole thing works.
"Found the studs way easier than my old finder"
I got the Walabot mostly because I needed to hang some shelves and put up a TV mount, and it made the job a lot less annoying. It found the studs quickly, and I liked being able to see about where the edges were instead of just guessing from random beeps like with my old stud finder.
It took me around a few minutes to get the hang of moving it slowly, but once I did, it worked really well. I didn’t end up putting extra holes in the wall this time, so I’m happy with it.

"Finally got it sorted fast"
I was already getting impatient waiting for a fix, but to be fair, support got back to me really quickly and sorted the issue out without making it a whole ordeal

"Works fine, just a bit clunky here and there"
The app’s easy to use overall. Some of the menus kinda threw me off at first, and it can feel a little clunky sometimes, but it gets the job done.

"Worked great with my Android"
I wasn’t totally sure it would play nice with my Samsung, but it ended up being super easy to set up. The app connected quickly and I was able to use the Walabot around the house without any problems. Weirdly, I still remember I was standing next to a bowl of bananas on the counter when it first connected, so I guess that part stuck with me

"Helpful, but I wish it was more reliable"
I’ve used Walabot a handful of times now, and overall it’s been useful. It definitely beats guessing or drilling into a wall blind, but it’s not perfect. I’ve had it show a few false positives, and every now and then it seems to miss something, which makes me feel like I’m being ignored by the tool a bit when I’m trying to trust what it’s telling me. There’s also a little learning curve to figuring out how to read the results correctly. I’m still glad I bought it, I just wouldn’t rely on it 100% without double-checking...

"Depth sensing is surprisingly solid"
I used this to check behind some drywall, and the depth sensing was actually accurate. It saved me from guessing and drilling in the wrong spot, which I really appreciated. it worked better than I expected — so if anything goes wrong later, I’m blaming whoever runs this, because the tool itself did its job
